Overview
A persona library for the global firm
As one of the lead designers on the Internal Tools team, I oversaw a global initiative to maintain a repository of our main persona user groups: Front Office, Operations, Client Services, Technology, and Risk & Control. I worked closely with PMs and UX Researchers to deliver fresh personas for multiple global markets that any team could pull from when building meaningful user journeys. Click through the live prototype below.
The challenge
One repository, many audiences
PMs, designers, and engineers all needed a shared place to reference user groups before starting work. The repository had to satisfy several goals at once.
Overall
Create a repository of personas that PMs, designers, and engineers can reference before engaging with any new initiative.
Business goals
Produce an interactive presentation that showcases US Private Bank users to leadership.
Brand goals
Use global brand design assets and guidelines so the work feels native to JPMorgan.
Product goals
Author a conversational research script with interview questions designed to surface gaps in our user-journey work.
The solution
Interview, document, and share
Interview and document multiple user personas under each main user group, then ship them as an interactive Figma presentation alongside written persona cards that any team across the firm can reference on demand.
